Meg is the Studio Manager, a certified Yoga Therapist under the Sri. Krishnamacharya lineage and a Teacher at MYBW. She completed her Moksha Level 1 500-hr training in 2011 and has since completed over 2,500 hours of yoga teacher/therapist training and has studied in Toronto, Victoria, Montreal, New York City, Rishikesh and throughout India.
While teaching group classes, Meg encourages students to meditate on the breath, layering postures on top of the foundational breath work and weaves mindfulness cueing into the fabric of her instruction; she focuses on a functional range of movement (a.k.a. non-compensatory approach to asana) and speaks to yoga philosophy, psychology, and mindfulness principles.While working therapeutically she offers Loving support toward biopsychosocial healing incorporating in a contemporary way the philosophy and practices tools of Yoga and Ayurveda. She holds a BFA from OCAD University and is honoured and humbled daily to be in this role.
