Heather’s love affair with yoga began when she walked into her first sweaty hot yoga class just under a decade ago in her hometown, Toronto. In years to come, as she traveled the world, Heather’s yoga practice became a source of grounding for her. Her mat became her home. Eventually when Heather found her way back to her Toronto, her direction was clear. She became an Energy Exchanger at Moksha Yoga North York so that she could practice to her hearts content and eventually applied to the Moksha Level 1 Teacher Training in 2013. She continues to ‘live to learn’ by studying and practicing with some great local teachers, completing the New Leaf Yoga Foundation training with Laura Sygrove in 2013, then Amanda Montgomery’s Yin Yoga Intensive training in 2014 and most she recently completed her Moksha Flow training in 2015 with Darcy Hagerman and Brandyn Negri. When Heather’s not teaching yoga you could guess that she’s either off trotting the globe or perhaps messing about on a sailboat somewhere with friends and family.
