Mindful Mornings – A Meditation Series with Dimple
Mindfulness helps you to become more aware and live in the present. Stressors in our daily lives distract us from living in the moment. We spend time worrying about the future or focusing on the past which creates a stressful reaction in the body.
Here is an opportunity to practice in a community where we will share some valuable teachings. Participants will be guided on steps, to address :
– Silent seated meditation
– Mindful movement
– Breath and Visual Focus
– Obstacles to meditation
– Establishing a meditation practice
Investment: $60 or $50 for members + hst
This is a 4-week series held at Moksha Yoga Bloor West in the practice room; expect a warm room-temperature. The studio will provide props though you’re welcome to bring your own meditation cushion/stools if you like.
This is a great opportunity for both seasoned and new meditation and yoga students.
Dimple Don-Liyanage practices and teaches applied mindfulness meditation and contemplative practices to enhance daily living and support transformation. She has guided people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of mobility, with a focus on breath and body awareness, and stress reduction.
