Caregiver + Child Yoga: A Preregistered Series with Simone North

This 6 week hatha yoga practice that is specifically designed to strengthen and stretch the areas of the body that are most affected by caring for young children and balancing many responsibilities.This practice is best suited for busy caregivers who are looking for some time to practice self care while still spending quality time with their little ones.

This class is non-heated, caregivers are welcome to bring babies (0-18 months).

Prenatal Yoga Series with Simone North

The sequencing of the class will combine therapeutic yoga and mindfulness techniques to support women in developing sensitivity and awareness towards the changes going on within themselves. This awareness can empower women, not only during their pregnancy, but during labour and delivery.

Through mindful movement, breath awareness, listening and relaxation techniques, women have the opportunity to cultivate an intimate mind-body connection and create a safe and serene place for baby to develop.

For MAY + JUNE 2017, our Karma Cause of the Month is BLACK DOG RESCUE: a volunteer organization that rescues strays from Northern Quebec and gives them medical attention and finds them homes.

SUPPORT:
– Come to Karma classes (Fridays 8pm PWYC)
– Donate a dog toy to our drive (May 14 – 28th)
– Adoption Pop-Up Shop + Class Giveaway at Dog Hill in High Park (north-east of the Grenadier Cafe) and possibly open up your heart and home to a new furry member of the family. (Sunday June 3 // 10 -1pm // Entrance of Dog Hill )
